| ARE ALL YOUR PLASTER CRAFT STATUES UNPAINTED? I SEE THAT THE PICTURES ARE IN COLOR... All of our items are unpainted with the exception of some religious items that are available painted, but they're on a separate page which says "Pre-Painted" on the left hand column link. Everything else is unpainted, paintable and ready to paint.
And remember, many items can be left unpainted such as the busts or pedestals. It's all up to you!
IF I WANT TO PAINT MY STATUE, DO I NEED TO USE A SPECIAL PAINT? No special paints are needed. Your best bet is to use regular water based acrylic paints. You can even use your own house paint to match your decor. If you're going to use spray paint instead, just give a first coat with a matte finish or a primer before using a gloss spray. This helps to save you money and creates a better finish on the piece.
CAN I BUY JUST ONE STATUE FROM YOU OR DO I NEED TO HAVE A STORE? You ca buy as many or as few items as you'd like. We ship throughout the continental United States via UPS ground.
DO THE WALL PLAQUES COME READY TO HANG ON MY WALLS? Any of our plastercraft items that are intended to hang on the wall will come ready to hang. Wall plaques, mirrors and frames all come with round hanging hooks embedded. Brackets come with sawtooth hangers embedded so they can be hung as flush to the wall as possible.
CAN
PLASTER-CRAFT STATUES BE USED OUTDOORS?
The answer to this is yes and no.
Plaster is a porous surface, so water will deteriorate
the statue if it is not sealed properly. The best method we have used to seal plaster for outdoor use is
with spar varnish or marine varnish. The statue
should be painted first with acrylic paint - cover
the entire surface including the bottom. Then
seal the entire piece. Spar varnish is available
in gloss and satin finish at any marine or hardware
store.
HOW
LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO SHIP?
Orders are packaged and shipped within 24 hours, although most are shipped out the same day. It all depends on what time you place your order and whether the item is in stock - 97% of our items are in stock all the time. In the event that an item is out of stock, we normally process orders for items that need to be casted within 2
business days.
Orders are shipped UPS Ground to
the continental United States only unless you make arrangements prior to placing your order for special processing. If you need faster processing, just call us. We'll do everything we can to get your items to you within your time frame.

In order to keep our costs low, we discontinued
our printed catalog and placed most of our

HELP
As you browse through the site, you simply click
the

button -
You will be taken
to your "shopping cart" page where you can adjust quantities if you'd like.
You can also view your cart at any time by clicking
the
cart
button at the top right of each page.
From the shopping cart page you can:
- change
item quantities
- delete
items
- checkout
- continue
shopping.
If
you click continue shopping, you will be taken back to
the previous page.
If you're ready to checkout, just click the checkout button
and you will be taken to our SECURE order form.
If you would like to change quantities, just click the
change quantity button to go to the modification page
and enter your new quantities then click the submit quantity
changes button. Your new quantities will now show up with
your new subtotals.
To delete items, click the delete item button to be taken
to the deletion page. Click on the item you want to remove
from your cart and click submit deletion.
Remember:
You can continue changing your order until you get
to the checkout form (the SECURE order form) and click
submit from the secure order form page. You can add
items to your cart throughout the entire process and
delete or change quantities throughout! |
